Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type:

  • Lavender (K2 or K3 EDTA).
  • Also acceptable: Gray (Potassium Oxalate/Sodium Flouride). 

Specimen Transport:

  • Transport 1 mL whole blood. (Min: 0.5 mL) 
  • Transport refrigerated
