Specimen Requirements

  • 10 mL from a 24-hour urine collection in a urine container
  • Keep specimen at room temperature during collection, and send specimen ambient and at an alkaline pH (pH can be adjust upon arrival at Billings Clinic).
  • 24-Hour volume is required on request form for processing.
  • Follow instructions in “Urine Collection” under Resources
