Specimen Requirements

  • 5 mL from a timed, overnight (9 p.m. to 7 a.m.) urine collection in a urine container.
  • No preservative.
  • 10-Hour total volume is required on request form for processing.
  • Follow instructions in “Urine Collection” under “Resources”.

Reference Values

Excretion rate:  <20 µg/min
