Specimen Requirements

  • 10 mL from a 24-hour urine collection in a urine container.
  • DO NOT ADD PRESERVATIVE
  • Refrigerate specimen during collection, and send specimen refrigerated.
  • 24-Hour volume is required on request form for processing.
  • Follow instructions in “Urine Collection” under Resources
