Specimen Requirements
- Draw blood in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s)
- Send 5 mL of unprocessed EDTA whole blood refrigerated.
- Do not centrifuge.
- Do not freeze.
- Forward unprocessed whole blood promptly.
