Specimen Requirements
Specimen Collection/Transport:
- Draw blood in a green-top (lithium heparin) tube
- Send 2 mL of lithium heparin whole blood.
- Place specimen on wet ice slush immediately after draw.
- Avoid exposure of specimen to atmosphere.
